USA ERN Assists in Waco, Texas ERN Launch

Community Goal: Keep People Working

In January, USA ERN assisted in the launch of the Waco Employer Resource Network (WERN) in Waco, Texas. Prosper Waco has partnered with Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries and Caritas of Waco to reduce turnover for employers. "The goal for our community is to be sure that we keep people working so they do not get into a situation where they lose their jobs. The WERN effort is really a strong effort to move us forward in this direction," said Buddy Edwards, executive director of Caritas of Waco.

What Are ERNs?

Employer Resource Networks® are private-public consortia whose purpose is improved workforce retention through employee support and training.
